We’re so thrilled to announce the launch of the newest ring bearer pillow line from Maihar Design, the Glitzy Girls: Abbey, Allison, Amber, Claire, Maclaren and Zoe.
This new line takes color-coordination to a new level for brides. Brides may opt for no flowers, or select from an offering of six different silk flower colors (Amethyst, Lilac, Passionfruit, Pearl, Peony and Pumpkin). Additionally, brides may color-coordinate from a selection of more than 20 grosgrain ribbons.

It’s no secret my sister Melanie is the crafty one of the team. Give me business plans, marketing, web design or anything public relations related and I am on the ball. Give me a needle, thread and a pile of fabric and I’m entirely lost. Sure, I can put something together, but no matter how neo-modern fashion may become, no one is going to want to buy the atrocity which I’d have created.
This past weekend we sat down to design some new lines. Fortunately, my eye for design has gotten much better, and Melanie actually turns to me for input now. Score! While I may not have been promoted from blogger to designer, I definitely got my fingerprint on the next lines coming out later this year.
So, as a sneak peak at the forthcoming designs, here’s what our designing board looked like this weekend.

We cannot wait to share our new ring pillow designs with you. Stay tuned the coming months – we hope to be able to unveil even more.
Hello, friends! We apologize for being M.I.A. over the course of the holidays – I’m sure you can relate to the excitement and festivities that took place during the month of December.
We are thrilled about the opportunities 2010 is presenting for Maihar Design. The wedding industry is filled with so many talented professionals, and we couldn’t be more honored to have caught the “eye” of some of the top wedding publications. Two such publications just hit stands these past few weeks – D Weddings and grace ormonde’s Wedding Style New England.
Maihar Design’s Amy Ring Pillow with Canary Splash was selected as a “so engaging” item for the Spring/Summer 2010 issue of D Weddings, Dallas/Fort Worth’s gorgeous wedding publication.

Additionally, Wedding Style New England selected the Juliet Ring Pillow with Ivory Splash as a “Hot Picks” item for their 2010 issue – so thrilled to be alongside numerous spreads of such glamorous items!

Thank you so much to these wonderful publications. They are among the leaders for selecting hot wedding trends, and we are thrilled to have received such incredible recognition.
Lastly – more exciting news. Florida brides, we have just been picked up by the Bella Bridesmaid stores in both Tampa AND Orlando! We’re slowly spreading across store locations in the United States (and Canada!), and are tickled pink to be among the approved vendors for the Bella Bridesmaid franchise. These stores are gorgeous with such beautiful fashions and accessories – a must stop for any bride looking for timeless styles for her leading ladies.
Thanks again to everyone for your support of Maihar Design. Last year was our first year in business, and it was a wild ride. We look forward to a blessed 2010!
We have four new pillows coming out early January. Since we are so excited, we thought it would be nice to give a “sneak peek” at what is in store for brides in 2009!
In order of appearance: Corie, Debbie, Juliet and Mimi.
