Selecting photos for this wedding was really difficult – so many gorgeous and thoughtful details were captured by Austin photographer Stella Alesi. Rather than ramble on about how great I think this wedding is, and how AWESOME it was that the Spazmatics (a really rad ’80s cover band) were the entertainment, I’ll let you look for yourself.
One more really neat note about the wedding weekend: the bride and groom hosted a welcome dinner and party at the Salt Lick and a farewell brunch at Le San Michele. Both events were FULL of fun details – rounding out an incredible wedding weekend.
Any friends of mine want to throw a weekend bash like this? I’ll be in attendance for sure…just throwing it out there!
This time last year I was in Sonoma County with my husband for the Grape to Glass wine festival. It must be nostalgia, because this Napa wedding at Carneros Inn has my heart yearning for another visit to northern California.

Typically ladies shy away from wearing white at weddings other than their own, but these leading ladies wear white with such style and unique flair. This begs the question, though: would you ever have your bridesmaid wear white?
Sometimes it’s the simple things in life that can come together to make something exceptionally beautiful. I think it’s easy to overlook life’s many blessings, and to take for granted the people in your life.
I hope you take the weekend to stop and enjoy those around you, and the people who make a difference in your life. It’s easy to recognize beauty from an image captured by an amazing photographer, like the one below, but I challenge you to see it with your own eyes.

With the downturn of the economy, I’ve seen a trend of domestic destination weddings become more popular. More and more, people are coming to Texas for their wedding – a perfect idea if you want an outdoor wedding (except during the scorching summer months!)
I stumbled on Anne Marie Photography and fell in love with this gorgeous Fredericksburg, Texas wedding. No surprise, since I’m an avid fan of wine. What impressed me even more is the bride and groom live out of state – domestic destination wedding? Perhaps! I love the muted colors which bring the elegance of the outdoor venue to the forefront, all thanks to Elizabeth Harris Event Design. And how stunning is the bride? Absolutely gorgeous!
